We stayed here for two nights before our cruise and were very happy with every aspect of our stay. We had room 126, facing the Grand Canal, and at first I though I would be bothered by being right above the Vaparetto station, but we heard no noise from below and slept extremely well. The room had a desk, a couch, chairs and included free WiFi, a trip to Murano and a bottle of champagne. There is also an outdoor seating area where you can view all of the activity of the canal. Yes, you will pay more here for the location, but don\t go to Venice and stay off the canals, as you will have to schlep your luggage. The Rialto hotel has a water taxi station right there, as well as the Vaparetto. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, and there is outdoor seating to enjoy your meal while watching the passers-by. You will not be disappointed with a stay here.

Venetian charm with modern amenities. Right next to the Rialto bridge which makes it impossible to get lost and only a few blocks from Piazza San Marco. The restaurant downstairs has great service and pretty good food. There is a lovely outdoor terrace that requires a bit of effort to get to but is well worth it. The breakfast included has a good variety of choices and is quite substantial. the staff is professional and very helpful.

This hotel was quite nice. best thing was the perfect location and have to admit that I slept like a baby & didn\t hear any noise at night. The rooms are fairly large and in the venetian style. The breakfast was quite poor. I didn\t expect a full English, but the food that should have been hot was stone cold as not placed on hot plates. still had the ham & cheeses, fruit, yoghurts and cereals. I just think it was quite expensive for my room without a view and would probably not stay here again. I also agree with a previous reviewer that the reception gentlemen were arrogant in their manner. Is that the Italian way?
