Great location in Marina Del Rey! Food needs improvement as it\s very mediocre. They need a new makeover and fine tuning with the existing waiters and service. I would not go back and I travel extensively and I see many restaurants, and this one really needs a performance review. Maybe it was a bad day for them? A drink is nice at this location.

It is very sad that Whiskey Red\s is so so terrible. It is a wonderful location and you can sit indoors or out. Outside are great views of the Marina and inside window seat are great. And that ends that. If you are on vacation and want to have a great meal, don\t go to Whiskey Red\s. Sure it looks pretty on the outside and inside is clean. But the food, oh my heavens is it bad. We went there a few years back and it was awful. But we decided to give it another try, because we had company. That was a huge mistake. We had lobster and it was so tough, it tasted like something I made when I was learning how to cook--I am not a good cook. The drinks were fine, the service was nice, but when the food is bad and I mean every dish was bland, boring, and just terrible, you have to hang in the towel and say never again.

We met a friend here for cocktails on the back deck. The sunset and view was beautiful. The food choices seemed fine but we just had appetizers. There was some kind of hiccup with our service that we still can\t figure out. We were there for 2 hours and had 3 different servers (who were there the whole evening) who we had to hunt down to get orders placed. At one point the original server, who started as very friendly, was actually a little rude so we think maybe there was something going on with other servers behind the scenes. We were only 1 of 3 tables with people so no explanation for the lack of checking in or extended time to get simple spinach dip or ceviche or desserts. We will likely go back when we\re in town again to give this place another try as it came highly recommended. Hoping this was an anomaly.
