Did you know? Del Taco was started by a guy named Del. Who worked for a guy named Bell, who started Taco Bell. And a guy named Naugle worked for Del? And he also started a fast food chain named after himself? And Del Taco bought Naugle\s and now they are the same? All So Cal legends. All true. The food is not generally as inventive or tasty as Taco Bell, but it\s okay to very good. This particular location is on the upswing for pricing and quality, and has some super people working in the mornings when I get breakfast lately. They are awake before 6am, cheerful, and competent. The food is prepared as well as the menu allows, and is always prepared to order, hot and fresh, unlike McDonalds. I recommend any of the breakfast half pound burritos, the half pound bean and cheese burritos (red or green - which can also be ordered for breakfast!), and the crinkle cut fries. Simple, old fashioned, and consistently great.
