We had a bad experience with Steamboat Pizza, where the shop tried to overcharge us by about 40% on our purchase. We ordered two slices of pizza and one water -- which, based on the menu’s prices, totaled $14.55 including tax. The cashier, however, rang us up at $20.40 and refused to recalculate the amount even after we walked her through the math. She would only say, “$20.40 is the amount on the register.” After three attempts to get the cashier to charge us the correct amount, we canceled the order and took our business elsewhere. Bottom line -- if you go here at all, be sure that the cashier rings up the correct amount for your purchase.
