Once you enter the front door it is clear you have entered a place that takes care of the details....well stocked shelves, smiling personnel, and a variety of things in their deli department that keeps us coming back again and again. For 25 bucks we can have a three or four course meal in our hotel room with a nice bottle of wine and then go out and enjoy the city sights and sounds. Forget the restaurant, forget the 150 dollar bill...this is better - as fresh and as healthy as anything you\re going to find in Vancouver and you get to see what you\re getting before you buy. We have a \ditch bag\ that we carry with us everywhere we go. It has wine glasses, plates, cutlery, salt, pepper, napkins, a can opener, a cork screw and bottle opener and a sharp knife in a sheath for bread, cheese and meat.... Go to Meinhardts and have a picnic....
