Tiny place on the South side of West 4th Ave, just West of MacDonald St. with an owner-chef which features trans-Indian inspired cuisine available in not-spicy and mild for timid palates or full hot by request.there are maybe 10 tables, lights are low, soft, hanging drapes define the ceiling, decor is discreet and appropriate and the servers are in costume. They are efficient and informative about the short menu with ~8 entrées prepared only after ordered. Pappadums are available while you wait and don\t be shy to ask, your order may take a while depending on busyness. It\s very romantic to take a date, the food is varied, exotic, delightful and totally adjustable to every palate. Make a reservation midweek and not later than 7 pm, then enjoy!
