Actual Name is Shao Lin Noodle House at 656 W. Broadway Vancouver. The address is wrong on the tripadvisor website. I went there on a Thurs. eve with two friends and had a most wonderful meal. We had 6 dishes for less than $60.00. They bring scissors to cut the noodle dishes. The fried noodles with BBQ pork was great and the pan fried scallops were very tender and tasty. The steamed rice is a combination of a number of rices and has a reddish tinge to it. We have been there a number of times and always make sure to order the Chili Garlic Eggplant with Pork, always a favourite. Some dishes are listed as spicy but they are tolerable and not overly hot-- actually just the right amount of chili. If you want a beer with dinner it is available, but they do not offer wine. This eatery is really worth a try in Vancouver. You won\t be disappointed.

There are people I know who like to always eat at the same establishment. It is bewildering to one who likes variety and particularly baffling when the food is mediocre and the ambiance so 1970. You know the energy is soured when the waiter makes you feel you aren\t ordering fast enough and you feel bad because you linger over your meal; there isn\t a timer on my table, but it feels like it. There is a bonus however, there is free parking stalls at the back of the restaurant.
