What could be better? A sports bar on English bay to watch NBA playoff game. Thought we\d pop in for beer and nibbles. Well...service was slow, 6-layer dip and chips were only fair after a 30min wait. Maybe all the pounding in the back room was the chef making guacamole? The location is great but the place needs new management.

We ordered a pizza and two pounds of wings. Waited 50 minutes for our food. The pizza came half burnt and only one of the wings came. Because we had to wait so long for our food we were really hungry so we placed a third order of wings. Since most of the pizza was inedible we complained about it and told the waitress we were still waiting for the second plate of wings we ordered. Our waitress left and came back 5 minutes later, said she was sorry about the pizza and that we wouldn\t have to pay for it because obviously it was burnt. She also brought the missing wings from our initial order, which were uncooked. It was obvious that they had forgotten about it and didn\t cook them properly as they were rushing. Our first and third order of wings tasted pretty good though. When we asked for the bill, we saw that we were charged for the pizza although we had been told by our waitress earlier that we wouldn\t have to pay for it. Our waitress explained that since 4 slices of pizza were still edible, they had decided to give the third order of wings for free as it cost half the price of pizza. We used to go to this pub often and loved their wings, but after this experience I don\t think we are going back again.

This place has such potential and offers stunning views over English Bay. With the right management team this could be a goldmine. However when you get past the view the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. In a country like Canada where tipping is expected , you should at least ensure your guests have a decent level of service. Waiting 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and asked for drinks, and then an hour for our food after we ordered is unacceptable in this day and age. Lo and behold when finally getting the food it was lukewarm and below average, definitely not worth the excessive wait. I feel this was a wasted mealtime when time visiting this wonderful city is precious.
