I\m a big fan of Montecito, having been there twice and wanting to go back for more. The food has fresh ingredients and some main courses are Canadian-sourced. Everything we\ve ordered has been delicious - we focused on fish. The Caesar salad is amazing and well-presented. It\s big enough to share. Hence, I don\t "get" the big California connection, other than the ownership and a signature chicken dish which we heard is delicious. The service is excellent. The tables are spread out nicely, so you\re not on top of each other. They have tables for groups, too.
