We choose this place because it was near our apartment during our visit of Barcelona, but then decided to eat there again because we enjoyed it so much. The first time we ordered the menu of day with different kinds of meatballs (champignons, cheese,...) and fried calamari. These last in particular were excellent: tender and crispy. The second time we ordered the menu with 3 tapas + paella or fideua (a kind of paella with pasta instead of rise) for 15 euro. Both were really good and the portions were huge, actually we could have ordered one menu for two people. Both times we ate outside, enjoying the warm and windy day under the shadow of the trees. The waitress was also very kind and friendly.

We thank \anima for a very pleasant experience and a superior paella served with a very suitable wine which was chosen by the tapas bar\s welcoming and smiling waitress. The relaxing atmosphere and the experience on the whole made such an impression that we had to repeat the succes the very next day. We give anima our best recommendations and hope to be back soon :-)
