Sadly it looks great and the staff are charming but the food is poor, the service is poor and we were absolutely stuffed on the bill. Location is nice. Everyone is very friendly. This is how they get their trade because you are hardly likely to check a review as you walk past. I ordered squid but I am not a fan of over-cooked courgette and carrot so I asked if I could have a small salad instead. Waiter made out this was a big ask but he would see what he could do. I got the salad. Big fuss made when he presented the dish about the favour he had done. Then we looked at the bill. I was charged for a full dish with veg (which I didn\t get) and a full salad (not the garnish I got). I should have argued but they didn\t give a stuff and suddenly lost their command of English. Also the wine was 50% more expensive than in other nearby restaurants. A dreadful experience.

We were enticed by the nice terrace and the obsequious person at the front gate. We did have a business dinner of 5 people. We sit and wait for 20 minutes, and then have to grab the waiter to have a beer. Stupidly we did not leave at that time, but order. It took them 40 minutes to bring the appetizers. The appetizers were ok, but then our main dishes did not appear for one hour. And when they did, they were not all of them, just three and they were cold. We have to ask the waiters to come and take away the dirty dishes from the appetizers and the beers. I could continue illustrating the magnitude of the catastrophe, however the final fireworks was coming. When we asked for the check, they told us the credit card machine was broken and they wanted cash. Greek government !!!! European authorities keep an eye, this happens to us in all the restaurants in Plaka. I insisted to pay with card and they take me into a peregrination to a far away restaurant to pay. An then they have to issue me a receipt by hand because their machine does not allow them to do it mechanically ( or so they say) Refrain from entering the place. Anything good is due to the location. The rest is one of the worst experiences you can have in your life
