I tried two Italian restaurants near the Hilton: Malconi\s, which was recommended by the hotel (smoky, loud, so-so food, indifferent service) and this one - this one was better in every way. Non-smoking downstairs area, quiet, clean, and attentive. Fresh orange juice? Check - they squeezed it fresh at the bar after I ordered it. Focaccia with cheese and ham was simple and nice. Taormina salad was terrific - served in a Parmesan crust with prosciutto and with a nice dressing. Spaghetti amatriciana was nice as well. Very reasonable price as well, much better than Malconi\s. I\d go here even if it wasn\t a 3-minute walk from the Hilton.
