You can\t see this restaurant from the road. You have to drive into a strip mall off Oakland Park Blvd. We were there for dinner and it was not crowded. We had the potato pancake, the weiner schnitzel and the chicken paprikash with apple strudel for dessert. Everything was delicious. Every portion was oversized. We always look for Eastern European restaurants on our vacations and this was one of the best. You\ll be paying for one meal, but getting at least two meals.

Yes, the portions are large! Depending on what you order, you have enough to take home for another meal! Corn chowder average. Potato soup missing onion flavor like my Hungarian Grandma made it. Two schnitzel cutlets take up the whole plate. Lots of flavorless spaetzle under it. Duck moist with crisp skin, but also flavorless, and the sauce on the side, unidentifiable, and not much help. Complementary creamed spinach VERY watery and strange flavor. Complementary red cabbage very vinegary and bitter. Basket of a variety of rolls dry and non-descript. Large apple strudel for dessert. Happy that my husband could have a sugar-free one, but mine tasted flat and sugar-free too, with only the addition of powdered sugar (and whipped cream) on top! The crust was thick and flavorless. Service was quick and attentive. Coffee was very good. Ambiance authentic. Still searching for quality Hungarian food, not quantity.

Absolutely love this European style restaurant. Small. Never feel rushed. Most sides are served family style and are excellent. Portions are huge. Take home for sure. I loved the enormous porting of Vienna snitzel which I had with home fries, the best I ever tasted. Their creamed spinach, red cabbage were awesome. I had enough left over for a dinner and lunch. Will definitely go back now that the snowbirds have gone back north. I am going to get take out as my northern friends went back. You must order at 3:30 before they open and for TAKE OUT ONLY CASH. If you eat in credit cards are accepted.
