Myself and my partner stayed in the Premier Inn attached for two nights for a break! we went to the restaurant the first night and it was delicious food but waited about 25 minutes to be sat at a table!! after driving for 4 hours. and then to be told we can be seated but cant have order taken as kitchen is too busy. the next night our order was messed up and wrong food came, but waiter was very kind and quickly got what was ordered. I was then later told I could not order pudding because kitchen was closed but i got pudding the exact same time the night before. Breakfast the next morning was ok but not for the price. the buffet breakfast was not stocked up, HOT water was luke warm and baked beans and mushrooms were as dry as can be. I would recommend either recruiting more staff or not having so much tables.

Terrible service, poor food quality and a scary manager. On the plus side, you will have no difficulty getting a table!

Having selected this Beefeater outlet, because it was the only one we could find in Edinburgh, we arrived to find it fairly busy, albeit we only wanted a bar meal as opposed to the full restaurant menu. We ended up sharing a table with some very pleasant local people and ordered the \Hand battered fish and chips\. It took about 35 minutes to arrive and the fish was certainly hot, but the fries were lukewarm. It all tasted fine, until we looked at the interior of the fish - it was a horrible grey colour, like the cheap stuff you buy in a freezer shop. But as I said, we were pretty hungry, so we ate the lot!! No nasty after-effects, so it must have been ok.
