So we visited this cafe based on the review from Rocket news promising the cutest cat parfaits served in a traditional Machiya house in Kyoto. This place definitely gave us that it\s a little slice of peace and quaintness. It is however not for those on their first trip to Kyoto as it is only for those with the time to go and you\ve exhausted every other temple our want somewhere you can sit in peace for 2 hours. We went there visiting the close by kyoto imperial palace on one of their open to the public days in April. We arrived at the cafe at 11:20 and luckily so cos it only opens at 11:30. There was a small line we thought waiting outside. But it turns out the inside only seats about 8 people. We were the last table to get in. Then the doors shut behind us for those behind us in line and they were told either to wait or come back later. Truer words have never been spoken. As you cannot get the Cat drinks until after 1pm. The two people who run the cafe out of their home make them personally with love so it takes a while. We ordered in the meanwhile a strawberry latte and an iced coffee. And were told if we don\t mind the wait we can also order the cat parfait. In the meanwhile enjoy the atmosphere if you can read Japanese read some manga or bring along a book to read. Make sure you have some sort of distraction to pass the time. You can fill out the guestbook in the meanwhile. Our first drinks didn\t arrive till around 12.15. No one left the cafe. No one entered. The strawberry latte was incredibly delicious though. At around 1pm pretty much everyone who made it inside at 11.30 got their drinks one at a time. They were super cute and the detail on them was tremendous with little chocolate paws and write chocolate whiskers. There was fruit and cake on the bottom. We couldn\t help but wonder if there was people who have been waiting since 11.30 outside in the cold who likely won\t get their drinks till 3:30. When we left at 1:30 sure enough there were people waitin

这里除了各种各样的咖啡,还有日式的茶点,一壶喝上两杯也挺舒服的,味道很香浓。搭配抹茶蛋糕非常的好吃,味道不是很甜。非常清爽。
