I stopped here with my family in Kyoto on our way back to our hotel, from a long day of sightseeing and exploring beautiful downtown. Pasta More, conveniently located in Kyoto Station was just a short walk from our hotel, and we were all starving. We walked to a few other restaurants in Kyoto Station beforing settling on PastaMore and the bar-type setting. The menu offered 3 sizes of plates, all for the same price. Naturally, I chose the largest. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of ingredients, especially considering the amount of pasta I ate. Overall, the food was tasty and my stomach was full. We were happy with our decision.

Pasta was good/ok. Good place to go if you want a quick non-Japanese meal (fast paced restaurant). Disappointed in the chef/waiters. I asked the waitress if she could please ask the chef to add mushrooms to my tomato pasta. She kept saying no it was "impossible" and when i asked her to at least check with the chef she said "no". I was pretty taken aback by this instant and determined refusal, as she gave no explanation as to why you couldn\t add one vegetable to an otherwise simple pasta. I then asked the other two waiters later but they did not understand english and kept giggling. I then went straight to the chefs and asked them if this was possible. The main chef repeatedly and quite rudely kept exclaiming "no! We cannot!" Without any explanation and without properly discussing other options with me. Filled my tummy but left me feeling a tad annoyed!
