While i was in Japan, I decided to have a go at this place because of all the videos i\ve seen posted on youtube and facebook. So i went there with really high expectations. Great service, staffs were friendly and when the chef cut opened the egg, the wow effect was there. I ordered a half set/small set one thinking because of the price (which is definitely not cheap), the portion might still be reasonably big enough for a person. Was disappointed when i see the portion of rice served in front of me, it was really small and didnt really tasted as good as i thought it would be. I had to have a second dinner after this. If you are looking for yummy and cheap Japanese food, honestly, this is not the place .

Kichi Kichi appeared all over my Facebook news feed recently. and sure enough, the chef was in the exact outfit when I visited. The egg cuts open nicely etc etc just like all the videos. Taste wise, I didn\t find it exceptionally marvellous or maybe I was having really high expectations from what everyone was saying online. To be fair, I\m not a big fan of omu rice either. As every person has to at least order a dish, I thought their other food was so much better and underrated!! We had the Chicken and Cheese cutlet & Butter Chicken. I absolutely love the latter dish! Really refreshing if you\re a fan of creamy food. I would love to go back there for their chicken but not omu rice.
