We were all tired from walking the shrines all day and didn\t have the energy to search for another restaurant with a menu we could not understand. This Italian gem was just next to our hotel and we came in to an empty restaurant. The host was extremely gracious (and also ended up being the chef! ). We started with a Caesar salad (different from the typical American version but absolutely delicious) and followed with mushrooms with blue cheese. The mushrooms were super fresh and perfectly seasoned. We each ordered a pasta and we were all absolutely pleased and surprised by the quality and taste of our dishes. We highly recommend visiting if you are in the area! Great food and pleasant and warm atmosphere.
