Was our first meal upon arrival in KL and it was superb! We had Roast Duck. Peking Duck. Char Siew. Roast Pork. Special Vegetables ("Si Ji Dou"), Cockles, Sweet and Sour Pork. There is a reason why this place is always full and has a queue! If you have never tried it, and you love Roast Duck- You have to come here!

The place is quite cramped and I had to entertain a bunch of American friends. The Peking duck was simply incredible! The meat was juicy and tender, and wrapping the duck meat in cucumber and spring onion and munching the "Chinese Burrito" (as my Yankee friends called it) was so delicious! We ordered other food and they were quite good. The last to come was the BBQ pork (char siew) and roasted pork (siew yok). The char siew was another meat dish to die for. So soft, juicy, and melts in the mouth. Simply heaven! The roasted pork turned out OK but the roast skin was too thin, not too crunch, and not enough fat.

We tried a number of dishes and every single one was really good, so it is worth trying a few. Apart from the roast and crispy duck - the real stars - I loved the fried salmon skin: not something I would have chosen to order, but a real yummy discovery. Service was sloppy and not very friendly - a real shame.
