I have lunched here with my family and separately with my children several times over the months we spent in Kuala Lumpur. We were always impressed by the variety and number of side dishes that came with our meals. The staff were so friendly and attentive and always made sure we had more of what we enjoyed. Their bulgogi was so delicious that I ordered this at each visit. My children ordered the bulgogi or the jap chae, which was the best I had ever had; the black fungus was cooked to perfection. Another favourite of ours was kimchi soup. If you are looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, I highly recommend visiting KoRyo-Won at Starhill Gallery!

My family have been to KoRyo-Won for nearly 20 years when they had their restaurant at Jln S. Ismail. My favorites are the Special Bulgalbi and the seaweed soup. The soup can be shared as it\s quite a lot and comes with rice. There are slight differences with the KLCC branch, such as the dip sauce for the Bulgalbi and the variety of side toppings. The cooker used are also a mix of electric and charcoal. The owner and staffs are helpful and you may choose to add or remove your side toppings based on your preference. Overall, it has been a delicious meal for the whole family.
