I like to takeaway something at this bakery when I am in the neighbourhood as they have a good selection of pastries, pies and bread. Usually I will choose something from pie tarts, plain croissant, pain au chocolate and baguette. My favourite is the pecan pie which is laden with pecans and simply scrumptious. They also have English scones that can be packed in a box with jam & cream and I bought some for my mother who lives nearby. Lately, they have a new item called cruffin which is a cross between a croissant and muffin which isn\t too bad. Actually, many pastries and bread sold here are really quite good and delicious if a bit pricier then other local bakeries, which is probably because of the better quality ingredients used. It is a quite small place to dine in with high tables and stools indoors but there are a few more brass tables set on the pavement outside. You can order toasts and sandwiches made with good quality bread to enjoy if you dine in and the hot chocolate is quite indulgent!

Good selection of pastries. The pastries are good due to ingredients as their bakers use real butter and that makes all the difference. Service is prompt with a decent selection of coffees. Prices may be on the high side but theres a price for quality. Even so definitely worth a visit.
