I\m in Malaysia, right at the business end of the Six Nations (annual rugby union event for northern hemisphere) and really don\t want to miss the England vs Wales match, so asked for any recommendations from the Facebook community. Sid\s Pub came out strongly. On the back of these recommendations I contacted the bar to confirm the game would be on. Email returned as undeliverable, but Facebook msg was answered extremely quickly. I wasn\t able to test the menu extensively, but I didn\t go there to critique the food. I did eat as good a sausage sandwich as could be wished for, but it was the welcome and atmosphere that makes me give the 5 circle (it\s not stars on here it seems) rating. As above, I reached out via Facebook, and had a quick and engaging response. On my arrival, I was a stranger to all in the bar, but was swiftly made to feel part of the community. I feel the rating given to an establishment should reflect the service and products received, and my reviews have always reflected as such. On this occasion though, the service provided by the tea is part of the building blocks of the bars community, so the management and staff deserve credit for their customers, as they foster the environment for strangers, like me, to be welcomed so easily. Therefore this review is not of just food, and associated service, but of an experience, and a welcoming to a family, where it doesn\t matter if everyone knows your name, they will still say "cheers". This evening, thanks to Sid\s Pub, I had a very pleasant time, so thank you Geoff.

In love with the draught Strongbow cider there as I am a big fan of ciders and fresh beers. I will definitely come back with friends in future. The only concern I have is the place is too small to fit everyone. Early arrival is needed to get a table.

This is my local really, being the closest pub that shows western sports in my neighbourhood of Damansara Heights. It took me a while to warm to it, but I do enjoy the place now. The beer is always icy cold, glasses clean, and service good. The food is generally ok, but some dishes are better than others. I would advise to keep it simple in the food department, but the fish and chips, burgers and sandwiches are all good. The staff are friendly and helpful and they show cricket, which is not easy to find in Kl. I always enjoy a few cold pints here, and recommend the place for sure.
