Love the pork bone soup base. However we couldn\t finish the 2 pax set menu. It would be nice if dining in a big group because you can order more different dishes.

Since I have started my review on Old Klang road steamboats, I shall add on my reviews on all other steamboat around the area which I have tried (all more than once). The specialty of this shop is their famous pork bone milky soup. The soup could be special on first try. But after few mouthful on the soup, you will start to realise that they must have added a lot of MSG into it, as you will start to feel really thirsty. There are indeed a lot of variety for ordering. But in generally, I find that it has been over priced due to its popularity. Even parking will need to pay RM5. The environment can be nosier than you imagine, as the shop was made from soft wooden dividers and the area feels like a big hall. The service are general, you may have to wait and will not get good recommendation since most of the service providers are not local and they would have expected that being famous, you would know what to eat once you step in. If you do some comparison, you will find out that for same plate of fish slice, the quantity at other shop are more than this shop and for other thing like mushroom meat ball, the price is generally higher than other places too. If you are a steamboat lover, I would really recommend for you to try out other options around Old Klang Road and not just stick to this shop. I am honestly not a fan of steamboat, but there are other shop that I generally preferred more and thus perhaps my view is more non bias since I would prefer not to eat steamboat unless it is really good?
