When you pound the streets rather than getting taxi\s , its always good to find places to stop off at. Aroma restuarant is located on a major intersection overlooking Rani Pokhari , so from an outsiders point of view, it couldn\t be better. The major interection would seem to be a bad choice at first until you understand that for a city of 5 million people, that there are no traffic lights, so there are Police on Point duty at every intersection. Given that no one really obeys any right of ways, and the Police set up a checking of registrations there. This was made even better by the fact that one of the hugest processions that seem to take place all the time, occurred ...... It was a great spectacle and gave plenty of insights into Nepalese culture. it all works and no one got angry , and no accidents. Oh ! and the restaurant, the main advertising seemed to be focused on its role as a cafe, It had a great roof top terrace, big coffee machine .... but no coffee! Meal was ok somewhat Western with Pizza being a big item on menu. Overall a pretty good experience
