We were visiting for two nights and decided to try the restaurant out. The menu was not the same as what we saw online which was disappointing, as what we wanted was not on the menu. Ordered two mains. The burger I got wasn’t good quality at all. They did not have the side I wanted, which wasn’t a big deal, but they also didn’t have the ice cream we wanted with our dessert (stated on the menu). The desserts sat on the shelf of the kitchen for a good bit of time as the chef hit the bell at least 4 times waiting for service. I was going to go up and get it myself. The thing that annoyed us most was the fact they added a 12.5% tip to the bill, when it is stated as optional on your website. I felt the service was poor, as they knew they were getting their tip either way.

We chose the beef and the lamb, requesting both be well cooked. These meats were cooked to perfection, tasty and exactly as we requested. So often the chef decides what well done means but not in this case. Well cooked whilst tender and tasty. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Not hurried.
