Visited here with friends on a Monday evening. Superb meal matched with very friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Been to this restaurant a few times now and tend to go with my boyfriend on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is pretty quiet but they seem to have a steady take away trade. The staff here are always very warm and welcoming, which is great especially considering we use our tastecard, and from experience other independent places can be awkward about it- but not Selsdon Spice!! (Although I must say the food and service are both worth full price!) The food is always great quality, generous portions and just so good! I can really recommend the Mango Lassi it\s delicious. Also the Chicken Ceylon is super good. Cannot fault the service though, I really must stress it is excellent. The only thing slightly lacking is the atmosphere, maybe some more up beat traditional music at an audible volume would add to the mood, particularly during quiet periods.
