After passing the famous White Horse descending into Preston - on your left stands The Spice Ship - An impressive early 19th Century Inn, circa 1840.

The Spice Ship is a favourite with locals & holiday makers alike, including their dogs!

This historical Dorset Inn thrives with its core value of The Great British Pub, bringing back the feel of what your local pub was all about - social gatherings, family dining and your home from home but with regular live music and multiple TV's for superb viewing of sporting events!

A warm welcome awaits you and your four-legged friends.  Upon entering, you will be met with our friendly team who will gladly talk you through our wide offering of beers, ales, spirits & wine.

The centrally located double sided bar allows the pub diversity - A large restaurant to the rear caters for a modern take on traditional delicious pub food and backs onto the sun trap, rear beer garden & play area. The front of the pub offers a dog friendly, casual bar area where food & drink can equally be enjoyed whilst taking in the live music or sports (BT & SKY) which is shown on a regular basis.
