I tried both the gelateria and the restaurant, both were equally outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the food is lovely. We tried several Italian dishes, the fish courses were very nice as well as their pasta dishes. I can also highly recommend the pistachio ice cream. The owners are very nice people and they are even paying for English classes for the employees, which I find very applaudable.

It was about 2:30pm when we found this place coming back to the downtown from Lido di Noto, where we could not find any open place to eat. However this Pizzeria was a nice surprise, particularly with one very friendly waiter who actually could speak excellent English (first one in three days, he spent one year in Dublin, so no wonder). He explained the menu choices in detail and recommended excellent food. Our daughter loved the Margherita pizza, we had excellent pastas, the gnocchi with porcini was particularly good. Food was nice everywhere in Sicily so far though, but the feeling of being able to hold a normal conversation with the waiter was irreplaceable.
