A quick lunch while visiting Alnwick, chose to eat based on menu at the door, on entering the restaurant we were the only people there (usually puts me off) however, no need to have worried! Within half an hour there were 6 other parties eating. The food was fantastic.... calamari, whitebait and prawn starter was light and perfectly cooked, pate was superb too, I am fairly predictable in what I choose, so is my husband, so to say it\s the best linguine vongole I\ve ever had (I\ve eaten 100s in many countries!) is a huge accolade! My husband spent his time mentally replicating the sauce his sea bass was served with... We will most definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely food and friendly service. Had a risotto that was amazing! Nice atmosphere and wine list as well.
