Visited the tavern for a drink and the bar looked busy, no tables free and bar busy Staff to the rescue and removed dinner setting replaced with mats and we sat and had a comfortable drink. So impressed we returned for dinner the following night and again were met by friendly helpful staff, great pub/ restaurant food and service where nothing was too much trouble, food delicious and served with style beyond most pubs. We have booked for this weekend again in order to pick different food from the extensive and varied menu. Well done The Tavern

The title of my review says it all. I had the Crab Chouder with homemade olive bread and my husband had the Soup of the day. Will be back asap
