Thought id pop in and try it given the reviews. Only 2 tables, but i was just taking stuff home to gorge through on a friday evening, instead of the usual chinese takeaway. I had.. Small Fish Pie - v tasty. Mash on top was sublime. A bit more sauce? 9/10. Small Garlic chicken chilli pie - Only had these available, was after a meat and gravy, but was not disappointed once i had tasted it. 10/10. Slice of victoria sponge. As it should be, tasty tart jam, full of butter. A bit stodgy, but added appeal. 9/10. Finished with a slice of the millionaires shortbread. 12/10. Yes thats twelve out of ten. About 11 quid the lot. Well done dillys. Wow. The best food ive had all year. Ill be back for a slice of the corned beef pie, meat pies when they appear.. and all those cheesecake offerings. As well as a patio slab sized slice of that millionaires shortbread.
