We had a hotel in Hiroshima ring ahead for us a week before we were back in Tokyo, unfortunately they were fully Booked for dinner the whole month of Oct, but we managed to get a lunch time booking. I was pleased you also got the choice of the evening menu at lunch time as well. None of the private rooms were available so we sat in the restaurant overlooking the garden from upstairs. We had an amazing meal with the highlight of course being the tofu (we had ours with soy milk broth), afterwards we got to walk through the gardens which were simply lovely, an expensive lunch, but well worth it.
