Great place, great food and of course great beer. Lovely sunny evening in the beer garden for food and a few beers. Had the spare ribs(which were huge) and a selection of the beers on offer. Couldn\t find fault except our waiter didn\t seem too interested in working for a living but that was reflected in our tips at the end of the evening of which one of our party refused to give him anything and also the reason for 4 stars should be 5 but he certainly annoyed us all.

This was close to the hotel and after driving all day from Sorrento we were hungry so walked here. There was no band playing so we sat outside in the garden. Liters of Lowenbraw were 9 euros and we were seated outside as requested. We ordered the Munich Schnizel and it was very good indeed - but the service wasn\t that friendly. It was cold outside so we came inside and sat at a table and they waiter was upset that we didn\t tell him (but he kept walking by as he was servicing tables inside and outside). He then "assigned" us a table which we sat at - and then immediately they sat 3 other people at the table as waiting for us to finish. No the best start or welcome to Germany. And then at the end the waited asked what percentage I wanted to tip? We have been in Europe now for 3 weeks and no one anywhere has asked for a tip.

This was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel so we ate there on 2 evenings. The weather was warm so we ate in their outdoor beer garden. The food was of course German, we found it to be good and the beer even better. Its a place that we would certainly go back to.
