Guzu-Guzu is beside delicious soba restaurant Ichimura\s at the lights to Kutchan from Hirafu, so we found it very convenient to pick up bread and pastries from them after a lunch at ichimuras. However after we first tried the delicious eat-in lunch options, it became a regular casual lunch stop away from the frenetic activity of Hirafu in high ski season. We are looking forward to heading back there next month. Be warned, unless you have burned a lot of energy on the slopes you might be overwhelmed by the generous as well as delicious rolls of salmon, pork or teriyaki chicken with accompanying salad. Buy some bread & pastry on the way out too!
