Woody\s is a little ray of perfection here in the land of not-quite-right. My family hunts good burgers for sport, and I have to say after having been to Woody\s multiple times now, the hunt is over. Everything is made from scratch. The buns, sauce, fries: all from raw ingredients. That\s probably how Chris is able to deliver this moist, delectable burger without the heaviness of others. The mouthfeel of the burger is pure perfection. The golden buns are the perfect combination of soft, warm, freshly baked yeastiness with the toasted aroma and pleasant light crunch of the first bite of the edge. The handmade hamburger, ground daily from 100% USDA certified Angus beef? Seriously...it gets no better. No matter which of the 3 variations you try, I promise, you won\t be disappointed. I\ve never had fries so light either. The service is also worth a mention. Not only is the owner awesome, humble, and somehow grateful he can serve awesome food to the world, but his staff is extremely nice, and very friendly. We just happened to be in there for one of kid\s birthdays, and when they caught wind of that fact, they made this phenomenally cool desert for him out of a brownie and some ice-cream. The plate had \Happy Birthday Ethan\ in gorgeous English cursive using chocolate sauce on the rim, and the brownie had sparklers and candles. Unless you\ve lived here for a bit, you have no idea how big a deal that is. A real burger, with real fries, and a real dessert. It\s something us non-natives have a hard time finding. Look no further. 1000 yen gets you a burger and fries. If you have that one kid like I do who craves noodles and rice instead of burgers and fries, don\t worry. They make really good Italian pasta dishes too. Even those you can get in a kid\s version. I can\t wait to make it there for the dinner menu!
