Last weekend twelve of our family, including six young children, called in for morning tea. The children were keen to get out of the car and run but as it was pouring rain, were confined to the restaurant with us. The owner of the cafe could not have been nicer. Toys were provided for the littlies and our orders were taken and delivered very efficiently. We all ordered something different and each of us insisted that we each had the best. The sausage rolls and meat pies were fantastic and enormous - so big in fact that we shared ( reluctantly ) , the kids loved the chocolate cookies and vanilla slices but the piece de resistance was the APPLE PIES - OMG - they are to die for. Even the coffee was good ! We all left feeling very satisfied and swore that we would return for MORE OF EVERYTHING

Stopped here today as there were so many positive reviews about this place. The sausage roll was so oily, when cut in two, oil poured out of the meat. The chunky meat pie contents included tough dry meat chunks and a sauce that was like hard meat jelly. The pastry was good. Will never stop to buy anything here again. We threw it all out.
