Was walking by the restaurant on my way to another one. The claim on their sign "best momos in town" made me change my mind. This is a family run operation. Dad and mom are in the kitchen and their older child is taking orders. He is very clever and good at suggesting items from the menu. Everything seems to be made from scratch and you taste it! Excellent dinner!

The atmosphere was a cozy, warm family-run Tibetan restaurant. The Tibetan husband and wife team are both the cooks and the servers (and the only ones that I saw), so keep that in mind as far as expectations on speed and service. Their amazing son and daughter hang around and help out sometimes as well. A very nice, warm and authentic Tibetan family meal and experience. Best momos in Pokhara is spot on. If you want Tibetan food in Pokhara/Nepal, go here. The location is difficult to find online. They are in the Tibetan Mini Market on the second floor. You can see the sign from the street. If you search for The Tibetan Encounter Day Tours on Google Maps or Tripadvisor, you can use that as a guide to find the restaurant as it is next to that business.
