This eatery is very small, probably with only three tables and a side counter. There is a person for taking the orders and a chef for food preparation. The wait wasn\t too long, maybe 20 minutes around 12.30 pm. We ordered the Anago tempura which came with a soy dipping sauce. The fish was fresh, succulent and the tempura panko crust was perfectly done with right amount of crispness, We ordered it without rice. It was under Y1000. We also ordered a bowl of tuna sashimi which was superb. The fish was very fresh. It was around Y 500. Overall perfectly crafted simple dishes with the freshest ingredients. The food was priced very reasonably too. Just a tip, we stopped by next door at a cafe called Aiyo. Its a place we discovered while waiting in line at Tenfusa. The place has an old world charm, the coffee very smooth and flavourful, made in the traditional way.

I loved this little mom and pop place next to sushi Dai! There is a wait because the place is tiny and make sure you get the shrimp or an ago tempura and the maguro appetizer if they have it. Crisp outside juicy fresh seafood on the inside. what\s not to love.noidea what will happen to this place when Tsukiji closes on Nov 2 2016 so go while you can!
