Our party consisting of 8 adults and 4 kids under 6 all enjoyed our meal and experience at the Watershed The food was great as was the service from the staff Will certainly return there Highly recommend

We visited The Watershed in May and was pleasantly surprised, the food was lovely but it was the service that will make me return. In Christchurch at the moment there are so many new restaurants that are opening but they all seem to lack old fashioned good service. I feel that some employees really don\t want to be there. So imagine having a waitress that actually seemed happy to be working. She was a delight. I don\t think that she ever stopped smiling, and nothing was a bother. If all the waitresses are as friendly and professional as Dawn I can understand why the restaurant was super busy. I thoroughly recommend the sour dough starter with dips (homemade bread) and the fish and chips were fantastic. I haven\t had golden crispy batter like that in forever! Well worth a visit.

We decided to go out for dinner on a spur of the moment kind of decision and found ourselves at the Watershed. There was a very welcoming young man behind the bar who saw us to our table, gave us menu\s and took our drinks order. We made our selection and put the order in. A lovely friendly waitress brought our food, checked on whether we needed more drinks and offered us cracked pepper. The food was absolutely delicious, nicely presented and fresh, the staff were friendly, warm and accommodating which really enhanced our dining experience.
