A favourite place of mine to have dessert. Love all their passionfruit, and lime cakes and desserts. The blueberry cheesecake is always good. Their caramel slice is wonderful, as well as their cookies. Always worth the price. They have a nice range of teas. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I keep going back!

So, I have to start up by saying that every time I have been to The Cakery I have grumbled under my breath about the service. Mostly because I am impatient for the onslaught of my tastebuds but also because sometimes things can take a loooong time. With that said, I keep going back. The food is amazing. And the staff, whilst a bit disorganized are super friendly. My favorite are the smoked salmon quiche, the prawn pizza and their homemade ice cream. I am too afraid to disclose my favorite flavour as its almost always sold out. Definitely a must try in Colombo.
