After reading so many reviews here and elsewhere, I decided to try this place. The pho serving is generous and tasted quite good, with more than the usual crunchy bits (raw onions, bean sprouts, spring onions, basil etc). The supposedly rare beef was however, cooked through. The spring rolls were also good. Prices were quite wallet friendly. However, at 7pm on a Friday, I did not expect to see so many uncles accompanies by social escorts and hookers drinking at the place. I know half of Pho Viet is a pub but so early in the evening?? I think I will stick to Long Phung. Yes, there are queues, the food is more expensive, but the pho also came with more meat there. I will need to try the others along the stretch

Came here on the 15th April 2016 for some Saigon Beer, bought 5 drank 1 and request to keep the balance 4. When back on 22nd, waitress ask me to sit down and wait to be served. After serving for a few minutes, their "boss" together with the waitress came and says that they don\t keep beers for the customers (As if I\m there for free beers) and even ask me to pay for a beer they just poured. Without drinking, I paid for the one and left.

Got here hungry as wolf and ordered pho bo hue dac biet which should consist of all kinds of meat along with ox tail. Bowl was pretty huge but what good is it as I got in a huge piece of liver and chunks of cow tripe instead of meat balls and ox tail. Management!! For future reference IF SOMETHING IS NOT AMONG INGREDIENTS ON MENU YOU DONT SERVE IT. PERIOD! Some people stay away from eating intestines as they cause gout. I ate half of it just as being polite eventhough it taste as crap. Secondly. Passing the kitchen on my way to toilet I could tell you could stage one of Ramseys Kitchen nightmares horror stories in there. Toilet is also a combo between sink, laundry service, bathroom and dumper. Go figure it out. Spending a month in Vietnam I can tell this does not even come close enough to proper viet food. Facilities however do.
