I wrote a not so great review of Buckhead Diner back in February after a not so great experience. Following the review, I was contacted by management and then sent gift card to compensate me for the bad experience. Prior to the bad experience in February, Buckhead Diner had been a go to restaurant for my wife and I for a casual excellent restaurant experience. Well, after receiving the gift card, we waited a while (hard to get out with three kids) but we went this past Friday night and it was everything I remember! The experience from February was definitely a fluke. My filet was incredible and my wife\s trout outstanding. I know there is always a "New" restaurant in town and all the cooking channels make you want to try the new chef\s etc., but for me, I like being able to go where I know the food is going to be great, the service exceptional and multiple items on the menu and different price points that let me decide how I want to eat that time I am there. Buckhead Diner fits that bill. If it were up to me, and I was going to be completely inexpensive, I would choose to go to Buckhead Diner for 60% of my dinner\s out...You know, sometimes you want something a little different...Definitely Recommend!
