The hike was slightly tricky in places if you are not accustomed to altitude but I completed it with lots of patience. I saw precisely one bird which was not a Quetzal so if my fellow tour guest wasn't a botanist, this would have been a wasted trip. Intrepid bring you here at 8am. I hear that birds come out at 5am so perhaps they were asleep when we visited?
