Jose Dolores Garcia built this house with love for his wife sometime around 1873. Jose was murdered in his saloon, it is said for developers to knock down the saloon and build on Forster and Camino Capistrano. In 1903 Albert Pryor bought the house from the garcia family. He had borders to help is income and pay for medical bills after he had a stroke. Mr. Pryor sat on the porch until sundown almost every day, rain or shine. Pryor's ghost has been seen limping around Los Rios and lurking in windows, as well as the ghost of the Garcia who was shot by Manuel Fellows while working in his adobe saloon. Garcia's ghost patrols the street looking for Fellows who somehow got out on parole
