We took a tour of the Pilgrim after reading the book "Two Years Before the Mast". How the tour brought the book alive. Our guide explained the ship and answered all of our questions. While we were waiting for the ship tour we had a tour of the Ocean Institute and learned about kelp, sea otters, the animals and fishes of the bay. It was worthwhile.
