We’ve been there several times this summer. The water is always cool and the beach clean. It is well taken care of. Great spot for kids. There are trees for shade. An “ easy up” is still a good idea. Sunscreen is a must. Parking is plentiful if you don’t mind dropping gear off and parking down the street. The paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boats can be rented by the hour and are perfect on the lake. Great spot to learn.
