Visited with 3 generations of the family recently and we were all pleasantly surprised at what a great place Clearwell is. It's much better than 'just caves' and much more than 'just a mine' and with the added attraction of a pumpkin counting competition for the younger generation ticked the box for all of us. Really informative, really well thought out (especially liked the silhouette mining experience and the underwater creatures in the pool cave) and well priced too. All very Covid aware and cafe very reasonable too. Would have been 5 star review but for slightly unhelpful man in ticket office who refused to look for online booking details for us in absence of Internet signal...
