This place is magical. We were heading up to Carpinteria for a couple of days' business and looked up a little "what to to here" article. One of their top 10's was Seaside Gardens, so we decided to take a look. The description was nice but the reality was amazing. OK, this place is a working nursery and everything else, but they've given over a couple of acres of their property to create the most wonderful series of botanic gardens, with plants and landscaping from all over the world. You can walk around the various areas and marvel at the beauty of it all. They have ponds, pergolas, Buddhas, architectural structures, even a Balinese-looking pagoda. And it's so peaceful and beautiful to be in.
